What is Monkey Kingdom?

Inspired by the beloved tale Journey to the West, Monkey Kingdom brings to life the legend of Sun Wukong in NFT form. We are the first Asian NFT collection OO OO AH AH! Our project's mission is to represent the Asian community and bring forth a diverse and rich culture to the forefront of the NFT space. Since its inception, Monkey Kingdom has grown from strength to strength, consistently topping the charts on the Solana NFT markets. With the incredible traction gained, the project has attracted numerous partnerships with artists and celebrities - we have hosted a Metaverse Christmas party starring legendary DJs Steve Aoki and Dizzy Dizzo, and formed partnerships with luminaries such as Sunny Wang, Verbal @ Ambush and Horoloupe.

We were featured on esteemed auction houses Sotheby's and Phillips at their Contemporary Art Online Auction between 7 to 15 March 2022, and the INTERSECT Auction between 24 to 31 March 2022 respectively. These events were covered by global news agencies such as Fortune, Yahoo Finance and South China Morning Post, establishing Monkey Kingdom as an international brand.

On 27 February 2023, The Genesis Collection has migrated from Solana to Ethereum, and the team has expanded development on Bitcoin Ordinals on providing NFT metadata & rarity rankings. A brief lookback onto our time on Solana, both of our collection, Monkey Kingdom, Diamond Baepes & Magic Peaches has made a total of 126,000+ SOL trading volume. A proud history that we'll bring onto our next step, the Ethereum blockchain.

Genesis Collection

From Solana to Ethereum

The Genesis Collection consists of 2,222 male Wukongs (Gen 1) and 2,221 female Diamond Baepes (Gen 2) which are 32x32 pixel algorithmically-generated NFTs that were originally minted on the Solana blockchain.

Monkey Legends on Ethereum

The third collection, Monkey Legends (Gen 3), consists of 10,000 3D and metaverse-ready avatars on the Ethereum blockchain. Monkey Kingdom became the first cross-chain project to traverse from Solana to Ethereum when Monkey Legends was launched. That signalled the project's ambition to become one of the first NFT projects to offer cross-chain utilities to its community.
